Position Overview: This role will support the integration of specialty services into independent general and pediatric dental offices. The Treatment Coordinator serves to provide remote training to enhance office efficiency and workflow in preparation for specialty production days. TC must enjoy teaching and interacting with staff members of all skill levels to improve patient experience and financial results. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain communication with GP practices; support and maintain productivity. Create and review treatment plans and insurance verification with office staff and specialists. Experience with oral surgery and periodontics is required. Additional experience with orthodontics and endodontics is beneficial. Correspond with patients, present treatment options, and answer questions about treatments. Scheduling patients and gaining case acceptance is critical to success in this role. Implement changes and provide education and feedback to providers, departments, and offices regarding denials that impact revenue. Demonstrate exceptional integrity and composure with patients, staff, and specialists. Conduct occasional in-person training to enhance services. Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a dental treatment coordinator. Experience with oral surgery and periodontics required. Very comfortable presenting dental information to patients.
