We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Therapy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client’s radiation oncology department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, staff performance, and operational excellence. Position Summary: The Radiation Therapy Manager will lead and manage a team of radiation therapists, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of radiation therapy services. This role requires clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of radiation therapists, promoting professional growth and development. Oversee staff scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal department operations. Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce. Ensure the accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments according to physician-prescribed treatment plans. Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Monitor quality assurance processes, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety protocols. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage departmental budgets, including staff resources, equipment, and supply needs. Prepare reports and data analyses for leadership, highlighting performance metrics and operational improvements. Promote a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring that patients and families receive clear communication and compassionate support throughout their treatment journey. Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Licensure/Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy and applicable state licensure. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist. Strong knowledge of radiation therapy equipment, procedures, and quality assurance protocols. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with healthcare systems and radiation oncology software. _Please note- The annual base salary range is $50/hr to $66/hr.
