Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C) Behavioral Health Solutions - Tacoma, WA Description Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities. Responsibilities: Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor) Requirements: Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry. Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA). Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees). 1 year of Geri Psych Experience. 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus). Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus Pay: $63.00 to $88.00 per Billable Hour, W2 and Independent Contractor options available. Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
