Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Lynn, MA Full-time Exciting opportunity for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to work on integrated medical/behavioral health primary care teams in an expanding community health center. Experience with addiction medicine is helpful. Responsibilities include: Provide direct psychodiagnostic and psychotherapeutic treatments. Conduct psychopharmacological evaluation management and therapy to clients of the health center. Participate in mental health intake conferences and case presentations. Provide psychiatric consultation to medical, mental health, and substance abuse providers, as well as community providers when appropriate. Work collaboratively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary practice. Qualifications: Experience with outpatient and aftercare of mental health and substance abuse patients. Specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects. Knowledge of DSM IV manual for classification of mental disorders and dual diagnosis experience.
