Job Description Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a full-time experienced Property Manager for a position in Kansas City, MO. Responsibilities include: · Direct and supervise all staff members in accordance with property and employer policies and procedures. · Handle and coordinate all aspects of occupancy and leasing including marketing, applicant screening and selection, lease execution and resident retention ensuring compliance with the equal housing opportunity law, local, state, HUD guidelines and regulations. · Perform annual re-certification of residents in a timely manner and in compliance with HUD and MHDC/Section 42 regulations and guidelines. · Handle all details of move-ins and move-outs, giving special attention to inspections. · Collect rents and handle delinquent account. · Ensure that all residents are provided with a clean, safe, well-maintained community. · Report accidents and emergency situations to the Managing Agent immediately and prepare and submit the proper reports · Ensure that all maintenance service requests are handled within 24 hours, if possible. Notify resident of any delays (due to ordering of parts, etc.) · Record any deficiencies noted in apartments, on grounds and in common areas. Take appropriate and timely corrective action, within budgetary authority and with proper authorization. · Make bank deposits daily · Maintain accurate payroll records as required, including attendance and submission of bi-weekly payroll to the Managing Agent QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN MANAGEMENT OF HUD and/or TAX CREDIT MULTI-FAMILY PROPERTY REQUIRED High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of three to five years related site management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy required. Preferably Yardi, Microsoft Word and Excel, or equivalent Communication&Math skills Assertive demeanor is helpful.
