Job Description Job Description Tri City Rentals, a long standing, successful apartment property management-company, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to assist overseeing multiple multi-family communities in the Capital District area. For over 50 years Tri City Rentals has successfully owned and operated market rate communities throughout Albany, Rochester and Buffalo and prides itself in customer service and providing the finest living communities in each market. Candidates must have experience in the following: - Day to day management experience in the apartment industry - Hiring, training and overseeing staff and building strong teams - Bidding, negotiating and implementing contracts - Experience in developing capital improvement projects and direct oversight through completion - Reviewing and analyzing various reports for trends, opportunities and potential problems - Knowledge in maintenance and facility related issues - Customer service - Snow removal - On call responsibilities Candidates must possess the following qualities: - Leadership skills to motivate employees towards a common goal; - Ability to implement policies and procedures; - Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to residents, vendors, superiors and subordinates; - Organizational skills to handle many tasks at the same time, achieve deadlines and work effectively and efficiently; - Have an acute ability to create and implement operating efficiencies.
