Job Description Job Description Position Title: Property Manager The Property Manager oversees the administrative, financial, and operational management of commercial office properties. This role involves managing a wide range of tasks, including tenant relations, monthly reporting, property maintenance, staff supervision, vendor management, and contract oversight. Key responsibilities also include budgeting, reforecasting, variance reporting, lease administration, and rent collection. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Controller in property management tasks such as preparing annual budgets, monthly financial reports, accounts receivable, contracts, and purchase orders. Oversee property operations and the maintenance of building systems, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Develop and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for service contracts, ensuring vendor performance meets contractual obligations. Monitor and enforce lease agreements, and actively support leasing activities. Approve and manage invoice coding to ensure alignment with the property budget. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenant representatives. Manage property personnel, including building superintendents and security staff. Oversee the building's work order system, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of tenant issues. Maintain clear and consistent communication with ownership on ongoing projects and activities involving staff, tenants, and third-party contractors. Monitor and respond to after-hours communications, ensuring proper escalation and resolution of urgent matters. . CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES 4 to 6 years of experience in NYC commercial property management Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred
