Job Description Job Description: The Client Devens, MA Project Management Office is seeking to fill a project management support position for a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will provide significant contributions toward delivering technical projects across the 350 person site. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in bioprocessing (upstream and/or downstream) and strong communication skills (status, issues, information for awareness). Responsibilities: Work independently and with project leaders to provide support on projects that relate to upstream/downstream, Quality, Supply Chain, Automation/IT, Manufacturing Technologies, Technical Services et al. Work effectively in highly cross-functional project teams and matrix management environments to accomplish project goals. Strong communication and technical writing skills are required. Develop project plans with the project team and project leader. Sequence activities, facilitate discussions with the project team to estimate activity resources and durations. Manage project schedules, including reconciling completed/not completed activities and prospectively communicating upcoming activities to project team members. Aggregate and interpret project information. Align with the project leader and sponsor to take action(s) to drive team performance. Appropriately escalate concerns to the project lead or recommend escalation to the project sponsor. Support project lead with team meetings. Schedule meetings for the project team, prepare meeting materials with/for the lead as requested, and facilitate team meetings as requested, documenting actions&decisions during project team meetings. Prepare materials for Devens project steering committee meetings and/or for network-wide management team. Qualifications: S./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (Advanced degree is preferred). Prior experience (0 - 3 years) in process development, process validation, or manufacturing support in bioprocessing (upstream and/or downstream).
