Job Title : Product Drafting Associate Location : Fort Worth, TX Industry : Real Estate Pay : starting at $38,000 About Our Client : Addison Group is seeking a Product Drafting Associate for our client, a leading company in the manufactured housing sector. They specialize in creating factory-built homes, including modular and mobile homes, as well as commercial and government buildings. The company focuses on product engineering and development to meet various industry regulations and standards. Job Description : The Product Drafting Associate will be responsible for creating detailed technical, architectural, and engineering drawings using CAD software. This role plays a critical part in product design and ensuring all products comply with regulatory codes. The position involves working closely with the production team to bring designs to life. Key Responsibilities : Create technical drawings using AutoCAD. Collaborate on new product development and design projects. Ensure product designs meet regulatory codes and maintain documentation for code compliance. Communicate with the production team to ensure design specifications are met. Maintain an organized file system for design documents and code sources. Qualifications : 1-2 years of drafting experience, preferably in the construction or housing industry. Proficient in AutoCAD or similar Computer-Aided Design software. Experience working with feet/inches measurements (metric-only experience will not be suitable). Familiarity with building codes is a plus. A degree in Computer-Aided Design or related field is preferred but not required.
