Center 1 (19052), United States of America, McLean, Virginia Principal Associate, Project Manager - Regulatory Legal Operations Team Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate Project Manager to support the Legal Operations Team. As a member of the team you will coordinate and manage projects and processes, providing horizontal support to teams within the department. This growing legal team will allow you to use your talents in a fast paced, fun environment. Our team thrives on collaborating and creates an environment where everyone’s voice is heard. You will be able to put your strong client services skills to work as you become the go-to person for questions. You will ensure a smooth end-to-end experience is provided to your clients, maintaining a consistency in service amongst all clients. To succeed in this role you: are a dedicated, disciplined, process professional who excels in a team environment and is an expert in project management and process improvement have a basic understanding of legal functions, or the ability to quickly learn are able to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the department have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform, and influence outcomes have a history of success in a very fast-paced, high volume production environment have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead in a dynamic fast paced environment Responsibilities: Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company Drive processes and projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, and timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed Plan, design, manage and execute project plans Leverage problem solving skills to ensure delivery on intent and maintain key documentation Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments Identify ways to improve and streamline processes Exhibit a proven track record of process and project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands Display strong collaboration skills Provide extensive day to day support, including coordination of due diligence, project management, transactional, and other duties as assigned Maintain files and other records associated with management of legal processes and projects Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Military experience At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal, at least 3 years of experience as a project manager, or a combination Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of legal or project management experience Significant experience in managing complex processes and projects Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities, and prioritize work to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Ability and willingness to work as a team player, with comfort interacting with associates across departments and job levels J-18808-Ljbffr
