Seattle Jewish Montessori is a private school in Seattle that fuses Montessori philosophy and Jewish tradition. Our focus is creating a warm, positive, family-like environment for children, staff and families. We design our classroom environments with intention to meet the unique needs and interests of each child. We are seeking a preschool teacher to work as a floater. full time in our early childhood starting in January 2025. The floater's job entails helping with breaks and spending time in whichever classroom is needed on a given day- either infants, toddlers or preschool. Having Montessori experience is a plus, but not necessary. Each classroom varies in the number of children and teachers. The children in all classes are there from 8:30- 4 daily. Each teacher is given a 10 minute morning break and a 30 minute lunch break. We provide competitive wages with a sign-on bonus of $500 ($250 on first paycheck and $250 ninety days later) and paid time off. Job Details: Full-time Help with breaks and spending time in different classrooms as needed Supervise the children throughout the day in the classroom and outside Assist the classroom teachers in maintaining a tidy and clean work environment for the children Support and assist the other teachers in the classroom Maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with the other teachers Assist the children with self care- such as snacks, mealtimes, and bathroom reminders Be a warm and caring presence for the children Skills/Qualities: Reliable Flexible Easygoing Creative Team Player Respectful Physical ability to sit on the floor and bend down Calm and pleasant demeanor Warmth Positive energy J-18808-Ljbffr
