Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various medical settings. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and performing various medical procedures. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Perform medical procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and medication administration. Collaborate with physicians in developing treatment plans for patients. Provide care in specialized areas including pediatrics, internal medicine, infectious disease care, occupational health, and ICU settings. Assist in the operating room (OR) during surgical procedures as needed. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies. Participate in public health initiatives to promote community health awareness. Requirements Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). State licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant. Experience or knowledge in public health, pediatrics, internal medicine, infectious disease care, or occupational health is preferred. Proficiency in performing essential medical procedures including spinal taps and airway management. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work flexible hours as required by patient needs including evenings and rotating weekends. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
