A reputable health care center focused on providing quality medical services to New Yorkers struggling with family crises, loss, and other issues is currently seeking Certified Physician Assistants for their location in Brooklyn. You would be tasked with providing integrated, person-centered Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Co-Occurring Disorder (COD) treatment, including assistance with managing acute and chronic health conditions. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition Responsibilities: Examine all potential patients for treatment readiness and lead team in beginning treatment planning and maintaining monitoring of each patients' treatment plan goals. Provision of HIV and Hep C testing and follow-up including PrEP, risk-reduction counseling, and partner testing and follow-up. Provide training for team members/staff on Narcan usage, HIV and Hep C testing, diagnosis, and treatment and the importance of ongoing testing and follow up for all consumers at high-risk of exposure Prescribe medication for SUD and COD treatment and provide medical consultation for all consumers, including monitoring health indicators and ongoing care coordination for acute and chronic health conditions, including HIV and Hepatitis C Ensure crisis management and diversion prevention plans are up-to-date for all consumers Qualifications: Master's Degree PA licensed in NYS At least 3 years of experience as a PA required Prior experience working with substance abuse, HIV, and/or LBGTQ populations highly preferred INDEEDTH Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Choose your own hours Day shift Evening shift Application Question(s): What phone number and email should we use to contact you?
