Terms and Conditions apply\\ The Physical Therapist I job is primarily responsible for the delivery of physical therapy care to the patient population to which she/he is assigned and the recording of that care in the hospital medical record. The Physical Therapist acts as a consultant to various patient clinics, provides instruction to PT support staff, students, personnel of other disciplines within VCUHS, and patient and/or family members. Therapists may also rotate through our various clinical service areas. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Licensed (or licensure eligible) by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current license by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist Current CPR Certification if required by clinic or practice area Experience REQUIRED: New graduate to up to 2 years of work experience as a Physical Therapist\ \Employee is expected to progress to a Physical Therapist Clinician II level within two years of employment at VCUHS Experience PREFERRED: Previous affiliation or work experience at a similar facility Education/training REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy Education/training PREFERRED: Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited School of Physical Therapy Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift No weekends License/Certification: Physical Therapy License (Required) Ability to Relocate: Fredericksburg, VA 22408: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required) Work Location: In person
