Responsibilities Fairfax Behavioral Health (a UHS facility): Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital that specializes in psychiatric and detox treatment. For more information, please visit us at https://www.fairfaxhospital.com/ POSITION SUMMARY: Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Part time Staff Pharmacist. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation/certification requirements and applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards. This includes administrative, pharmaceutical, and professional functions relating to pharmaceutical care provided at this facility. Wage Range: Minimum: $53.20/hour Maximum: $80.47/hour Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Program is required. Experience: A minimum of three (3) years hospital pharmaceutical experience is preferred; must possess the experience to oversee the provision of medication requirements for the patient populations treated in this facility, including knowledge of dosage for age-specific populations. Licensure: Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Washington state. Must have a valid driver's license. Additional Requirements: A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
