Higginbotham , a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an opening for a Personal Lines Support in our Houston, TX office. We are searching for a detail-oriented and fast-learning individual to assist the sales team with quoting and binding insurance policies for both current and future clients. The role is an opportunity to learn more about the insurance business and gain exposure to a large number of carriers, whether you are starting your career or making a career change The role is primarily internally facing in working with both the insurance agents and other members of the Service team, but there will be some engagement with both clients and carrier underwriters as well. Responsibilities: Create product proposals, quotes, requests for proposals as requested via carrier websites and applications Research clients as needed through available third-party sources for accurate information Communicate as needed with underwriters to assess risk details Issue policies and generate initial paperwork as well as complete system entry Process files and complete trailing documentation requirements Other duties as needed Requirements: Ability to learn quickly and continue to evolve as the industry changes Attention to detail and a problem-solving mentality Time management and prioritization skills High school diploma or equivalent Displays professional and cheerful presentation Must be a self-starter with attention to detail and time management skills Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong typing skills Location: Houston, TX Benefits: Generous employee benefits package which includes a robust wellness program Employee Ownership Opportunities Career progression opportunity - the potential for growth within the company J-18808-Ljbffr
