Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Paralegal to join this team of mesothelioma lawyers. In this role, you will support attorneys in handling asbestos-related claims, including research, document preparation, and client communication. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone new to the legal field who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by asbestos exposure. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, discovery requests, and trial exhibits Conduct research on asbestos exposure cases and mesothelioma claims, gathering and analyzing evidence related to client cases Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and readily accessible Communicate with clients, providing updates and answering questions about their cases Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials Draft correspondence and case summaries as directed by attorneys Perform other administrative tasks, such as scheduling, filing, and billing as needed Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field, or a paralegal certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferred Ideally, 1-2 years of Paralegal experience Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion Prior experience in a law firm or with asbestos/mesothelioma cases is a plus, but not required Details: Direct hire, full time Monday - Friday 9a - 5p Pay- Depending on experience, starting at $42k Excellent benefits, PTO, a supportive enviroment with amazing people Why Join Us: Be part of a top-reviewed and highly respected law firm Work with a team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals Gain valuable hands-on experience in asbestos litigation and personal injury law Enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth Competitive compensation and benefits package, including reasonable legal fees with no charge unless we secure compensation If you are passionate about pursuing justice for those affected by asbestos exposure and are ready to take the next step in your legal career, we encourage you to apply.
