PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY: Follow all KC Safety Directives&Guidelines. Sand Blast and Painting Operations. Apply prepared primers and paints to components. Ensure paints are at proper consistency and viscosity for spraying or brushing application. Adjust equipment to obtain the finished requirements. Operate paint booth, painting, and blasting equipment. Maintain spraying equipment and booths in working conditions. Operate crane and forklifts. Maintain inventory of paint and supplies. Maintain clean and orderly work area including equipment and perform all assignments in a safe manner and in accordance with established procedures. Other duties assigned by Supervisor. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years experiences preferred. Airless and Conventional Paint Sprayer experience preferred. Other Requirements: Visual acuity to read directions and prints to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet standards. Difficult positioning and assembling requiring a high degree of accuracy and dexterity. Physical ability to perform work requiring frequent stooping and bending. Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds. Cranes and Forklifts are available for heavy lifting. J-18808-Ljbffr
