Job Description

Midwest Bus Sales Inc is seeking a self-starter for an Outside Parts Sales position. This role requires a strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of relationships with customers and coworkers. The Outside Parts Sales position is responsible for maximizing the efficiency, revenue, and productivity of the parts department while achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The job requires 80% travel time visiting customers, building relationships, and delivering parts in a company vehicle. Responsibilities Visiting and communicating with customers regarding both the Parts&Service department on a routine basis. Strong communication skills and the ability to take notes to update the Pipedrive CRM tool are essential. Advising customers of promotions and new items available. Making recommendations to customers for additional items. Promoting and researching products and services offered by Midwest Bus Sales. Creating customer estimates, generating sales, and finalizing invoices. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and proprietary software are required. Performing necessary computer functions to track orders, build quotes, and follow up with customers. Identifying in-house and other sourced parts opportunities. Communicating effectively with the Parts Manager about AOR and customer feedback. Daily communication with inside parts staff to process customer orders. Handling all aspects of the sales and ordering process with minimal assistance. Assisting in maintaining inventory, including counting inventory and warehouse organization. Determining the need for maintenance and repair parts based on customer information and suggesting related parts. Maintaining the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean and up to date with maintenance intervals. Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external customers to encourage business growth. Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude with co-workers, customers, and vendors. Following all company policies and procedures.
