PRN Outpatient Addiction Counselor (Telehealth) - LCSW or LPC Valley Hope is growing and we're looking to add to our team. We're in search of an experienced LCSW or LPC to support our Boonville facility on a PRN basis. This position could eventually become a full-time position at our soon to open Columbia outpatient facility. Valley Hope of Boonville, located just outside of Columbia off I-70, provides Missouri with residential and outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE Required: Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, education, or social work. License or credential to function as an alcohol and drug treatment counselor in the state in which the Counselor is working. CPR/First Aid Certification One (1) year of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience. Preferred: Three (3) plus years of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience. Develops, revises, and implements treatment plans. Performs face-to-face assessments. Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including participating in weekly staff meetings, any staff development, and training as required. Develops patient progress reports and establishes follow-up care for patients and their families as needed. Provides clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support patients in their recovery. Collects and reviews referral information upon assignment of patients and consults with others as needed to support coordination of services. Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Outpatient treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility.
