Healthcare professionals want control of their income, projects, and hours, and NurseDash demonstrates its platform to help achieve these goals CST Responsibilities and Duties A Surgical Technician/OR Tech may perform any of the following duties to prepare the room and the patient for the surgical procedure: Setting up the instruments and equipment required for the surgery Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery Preparing the patient for surgery Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies before the operation Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery Qualifications and Skills For This Position: Candidates must have at least one year of on-the-job CST experience, ideally experience in these specialties: general, pain, ortho, spine, plastics, bariatrics, ENT, sports medicine, robotics. Possess a professional and friendly personality, and enjoy working with people of all ages. In addition, candidates must demonstrate strong organization, self-motivation, and multi-tasking abilities. Finally, discretion and integrity are of the utmost importance with all interactions. Current rates are $34-$42 with opportunities for bonuses.
