The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be responsible for the staff and resources of our Operating Rooms and C-Section suites and will assist with the development and monitoring of the quality and standards pertaining to the Operating Room. The Operating Room Nurse manager will also manage the daily patient care activities of the Operating Room, Recovery Room, Pre Op, and Pain. Assures efficient utilization of OR, PACU and Pre OP resources by proactively managing the schedule in collaboration with anesthesiology and surgeons. The OR Manager oversees all staff in the OR, PACU, Pre OP, and Pain. Nurse managers are responsible for managing staff and financial resources; ensuring patient and empoyee satisfaction; maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors; ensuring standards and quality of care are maintained; and aligning the unit's goals with the hospital's strategic goals. Qualifications: Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
