A busy plastic surgery practice is seeking a detail oriented conscientious nurse practitioner who has great bedside manner. The nurse practitioner handles preoperative education, and assists the surgeon with the post-operative care. Answering patient calls, documentation on the EMR, and obtaining laboratory results and medical clearances from primary care physicians, are part of the job responsibilities. The after hours call for the practice is extremely light and the NP handles non-emergent inquiries with the surgeon always available as the back up.Hours are 8:30-5 M-Th, and 8:30-4 Fridays.
