Rezolut Imaging is looking for a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team Who is Rezolut? Rezolut is a national emerging platform of diagnostic medical imaging services. Responsibilities This person will perform NucMed / PET procedures. Positions and instructs the patient, operates imaging equipment, and determines the technical factors. Ensure correct marketing/labeling of all images. Adheres compliance to the State of California Radiation Safety Regulations and Federal Drug Administration regulations. Provides and confirms proper documentation of procedures requested/performed, patient history, etc. to assist in diagnosis. · Perform organ imaging tests including full skeletal, cardiac blood pool, and major vascular blood pool tests Consistently perform complex examinations and procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist · Monitor the patient to check for unusual reactions to the drugs Operate equipment that creates images of areas in the body, such as images of organs Examine machines to ensure that they are working properly Keep detailed records of procedures Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide them with assistance during procedures · Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians Qualifications for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Nuclear medical technological certification depending on state requirements Prioritize work assignments and adjust tasks as needed Ability to maintain confidential patient information Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and patients and gain their trust and respect Demonstrates flexibility to meet department needs as they vary Ability to work with minimum supervision within the guidelines set up by the department Strong oral and written communication skills Able to communicate effectively in a caring and courteous manner Requirements State of California Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) Valid State of California Radiologic Technology (CRT) Valid National Certification of Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB) Valid State of California Fluoroscopy License Valid State of California Venipuncture/IV Contrast License Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology Certification (ARRT)(N) and ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) A minimum 2 years experience within the past 36 months performing Nuclear Medicine Studies Minimum of 1-year experience performing PET/CT CPR For Healthcare Providers (AHA Approved Course) Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Per diem Schedule: Discussed upon the interview.
