Our team has been staffing hospitals for the last 33 years and is now recruiting for high-paying short-term positions. Responsibilities Assist orthopedic surgeons during procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments. Apply and remove casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices as directed. Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and assisting with mobility. Educate patients on post-operative care and rehabilitation protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and medical terminology. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient service and outcomes. Support pediatric patients with specialized care approaches tailored to their needs. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to orthopedic care. Proficiency in patient care techniques, including monitoring vital signs and providing comfort. Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices. Experience working in a hospital environment, particularly in orthopedics or related fields. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain sterile conditions during procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating compassion for patients.
