National Security Business Operations Manager Manages national security installation projects across various locations, ensuring that all systems are implemented meeting quality and compliance requirements. This role will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Technology, facilities, and external contractors to support the organization's security initiatives in a financial institution setting. The incumbent will possess project management expertise, technical knowledge in physical security systems, and financial acumen to handle tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and vendor management. Position Responsibilities: Security Installation Oversight Oversee all phases of security installations, from initial planning and design to execution, testing, and handover. This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure that security needs align with operational objectives and facility layouts. Act as the liaison between the Corporate Security team, Corporate Real Estate, Retail Bank, Technology, and contractors, ensuring that installations are integrated into the company's broader infrastructure and systems. Manage scope changes during installation projects, including design adjustments, unexpected site conditions, or evolving security requirements. Ensure that any changes are properly documented and communicated across teams. Ensure that all installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to physical security, building codes, and industry-specific security standards (e.g., PC, BPA, etc.). Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for necessary approvals. Vendor Management Participate in the vendor selection process by evaluating vendors based on their reputation, cost, technical capabilities, and reliability. Participate in contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms that align with project timelines and budget constraints. Serve as the point of contact for vendors in case of delays, technical issues, or disputes. Ensure that any issues are escalated and resolved swiftly to keep projects on track. Invoicing&Budget Management Work closely with procurement and finance teams to manage vendor contracts and negotiate pricing for hardware, software, and installation services. Ensure all vendor services are delivered within budget and any cost overruns are reported and managed effectively. Work with the finance team to produce detailed financial reports, tracking expenditures against project budgets. Analyze any variances between projected and actual costs, providing justifications and recommendations to ensure cost-efficiency. Technical Oversight Work closely with security team and integrators to design robust physical security systems tailored to our needs. Evaluate and select technologies such as access control systems, IP-based surveillance cameras, intrusion detection systems, and emergency response mechanisms. Ensure that security systems integrate smoothly with the organization's broader Technology and operational infrastructure. This includes overseeing integration with other systems such as building management software, employee databases, and network monitoring tools. Work with security teams to provide training on new security systems and technologies, ensuring end-users understand how to operate and monitor systems effectively. Reporting&Analysis Develop and maintain project tracking systems to provide real-time visibility into the status of installations. This includes keeping stakeholders updated on progress, potential risks, and delays through regular reporting mechanisms (e.g., dashboards, reports, and presentations). Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of security installations, including system uptime, operational efficiency, and compliance with deadlines and budgets. Analyze these metrics post-installation to identify areas for improvement. Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field - OR - High School/GED with 5 years Security and Project Management experience 5 years of experience in business operations, project management, or physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, etc.) within a financial institution or corporate security environment 5 years of experience managing large-scale national installation projects and overseeing budgets 5 years of experience managing external vendors and contracts 3 years of financial management experience including invoicing, and budgeting 3 years of experience working cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously Licenses/Certifications: First Aid/CPR/AED Required Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
