Job Description Job Description FREE GOURMET MEALS WHILE WORKING Position: Monitor Manager Supervised By: Chief Operations Officer Supervises: All monitors at South Broadway location Position Description: The Monitor Manager provides management and supervision of the residential monitor staff. The Manager develops schedules and ensures shift coverage. Specific duties and responsibilities: Train new monitors in all job responsibilities of the monitor position. Train new employees on SunWave and the computer system. Obtain passwords on day of hire. Fill all vacant monitor shifts and be responsible for maintaining a schedule of all monitors. Will personally fill shifts when vacant shifts may cause safety issues being vacant. Be involved in hiring of South Broadway monitors. Assist in facilitating monthly monitor meetings. Will not be involved in clinical decisions. Continue as day shift monitor Monday thru Friday. Order necessary supplies for all areas. Report any employee conduct issues to COO and Human Resources for review and investigation. Responsible for performance management of monitors. Report attendance occurrences to Human Resources for tracking purposes. Receive and promptly respond to all email communications from Harris House. Attends management training. Judiciously follows all Policies and Procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of clients. Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously. Education and Experience: Associates degree preferred. Requires valid Missouri Driver’s License, insurance coverage and ability to safely transport clients. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of bending, standing, and walking. Frequently pulling, pushing, and bending. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
