ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Based at the Macassa Mine, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Miner 4 to join our Near Surface Mining team. A Miner 4 is an entry-level role to Mining and may work in varied areas of Mine Haulage (Production or Services). The role supports others and is part of a team. RESPONSIBILITIES Your responsibilities will include: Perform work safely to meet productivity expectations and schedules. Housekeeping - keep work areas clean and free from hazards. Communication - from and with others, recording accurate records on 5-point (Zero Hazard) card, aligning with daily tasks assigned. Teamwork - complete set tasks and actively assist others to complete their tasks. As per Agnico Eagle Underground Mining Classification Guidelines , you will be required to complete and maintain competence with Ontario common core UG Mining modules: Induction, General Inspection, Scaling, Tag&Lockout, Operating Lifting Mechanism. QUALIFICATIONS Physically fit Ability to work both independently and as a team.
