Navanti has an anticipated need for a Middle East Analyst to work with our multidisciplinary team who can use his/her knowledge of politics, government, and social issues within the region. Candidates should have knowledge and/or experience in the Middle East region to gather and analyze data pertinent to the media environment, demographics, and security affairs. The candidate will be responsible for collecting information from open sources including regional and other non-English news outlets, social media, blogs, academic literature, local contacts, and other sources and writing analytical products. Minimum Required Qualifications: 3 years of relevant work experience, 1 years working experience in the region preferred Open-source analysis experience in a professional environment Social Network Analysis experience in a professional environment Media Analysis experience in a professional environment Quantitative analysis experience in a professional environment Excellent writing and communications skills Strong attention to detail Desired Experience: Strong working and/or academic knowledge of the Middle East, with demonstrated enthusiasm for subject matter. Knowledge of many countries in the region.
