Responsibilities Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, including but not limited to blood, urine, and tissue samples. Conduct RNA extraction and other molecular biology techniques as needed. Execute phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture, while adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards. Analyze test results and report findings accurately to physicians and healthcare providers. Follow established protocols for quality control and assurance in laboratory testing. Collaborate with team members to improve laboratory workflows and efficiency. Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist (e.g., ASCP or equivalent) preferred. Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory practices, physiology, anatomy, and relevant laboratory procedures. Experience with flow cytometry (CT) techniques is a plus. Proficiency in aseptic technique and safe handling of biological materials. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
