Medical Science Liaison - Southeast Remote, MA, US Posted: 07/11/2024 Employment Type: Direct Hire Job Category: Medical Science Liaison Job Number: 3890 Job Description This senior contributor-level role leverages scientific expertise to ensure the successful implementation of the company’s medical affairs strategy. The person in this role will execute approved medical affairs strategies, Medical Science Liaison initiatives, and communications; translate market dynamics into valuable insights for internal product development teams; and ensure strategies are aligned within Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Clinical Development. Responsibilities: Supports Medical Affairs goals and objectives. Develops and implements territory specific medical engagement plans. Executes on approved medical affairs strategies, Medical Science Liaison initiatives, and communications. Collects feedback from healthcare professionals to understand market dynamics and translates those dynamics into valuable insights for internal product development teams. Ensures strategies are aligned within Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Clinical Development. Ensures strategies and practices adhere to industry regulations and company guidelines. Explores present and upcoming pipeline development, clinical practices, and cutting-edge study methodology. Educates health care providers (HCPs) with high quality scientific information. Identifies, documents, discusses, and disseminates scientific insights to team members. Exchanges field-based scientific information with key opinion leaders, health care providers, as well as with internal cross-functional stakeholders. Represents and supports both regional and national congresses and professional society meetings. Requirements / Qualifications: Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP) required. 1 to 3 years’ experience focused on hematology/oncology in the biopharmaceutical industry. Requires strong hematologic and/or solid tumor malignancies scientific acumen. Ability to create and implement short- and long-term plans. Ability to identify and utilize resources to achieve desired outcomes. Strategic thinker, able to create and implement short- and long-term plans, identifying and utilizing the necessary resources to achieve desired outcomes.
