This Opportunity: This Manager position sits within the Americas' Commercial Pricing Team that supports cost proposal development for U.S. government and other institutional and commercial clients but will be available to support a wide variety of other management and strategic initiatives. In line with Palladium's spirit of agility, this position will work closely with other team members to build skills, competencies, and best practices in business development and project management. Location and Compensation: The position is based in Palladium's Washington D.C. office. For our prospective employees in the United States, please note that the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $100,000 to $135,000, and successful candidates may also be eligible for additional, variable incentive compensation dependent on the role. For part-time employees, the salary will be prorated based on the actual number of hours worked. We pride ourselves on giving you the freedom, resources, and guidance to chart a fulfilling career Reporting Lines: The role reports to the Senior Manager, Cost&Pricing, and may have supervisory responsibilities. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Lead development of cost proposals for all major clients. Ensure quality assurance of cost proposal development in the US. Assess solicitation requirements and ensure development of compliance checklists. Coordinate and evaluate pricing inputs. Develop cost proposal outlines and alignment with input/resource needs. Conduct market research to inform pricing strategy and create cost effectiveness narratives. Research salary rates, equipment costs, exchange rates, office costs, and other various cost assumptions. Ensure compliance with client contracting regulations. Ensure timely completion of compliant cost proposals and supplemental materials prepared in accordance with Palladium policies and procedures. Create and modify budget spreadsheet templates. Support the financial negotiation of contracts and change orders. Manage the development of forecasts for new business. Primary pricing point of contact for Palladium's Global Health practice. Perform other tasks that may be assigned as necessary. Essential Criteria: Experience responding to cost and business proposal requirements for U.S. government and other institutional and commercial clients. Advanced ability in developing project financial models, budgeting, and forecasting tools. Understanding of the international development sector and/or government contract services. Proven ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial managers. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional planning, organization, and time management skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
