SIGN ON BONUS $5,000 12-hour shift 7am-7pm 36 hrs/week. (No weekends, no holidays, no call). SUMMARY: The Mammography Technologist, under the direction of the Director of Radiology, provides care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorder; assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed by Supervisor. Must have access to own transportation, possess a valid operator’s license and insurance coverage as indicated by Lexington Clinic safety policies. Position requires occasional travel. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Formal training which will probably be indicated by registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); certification by the Kentucky Department of Human Resources, Radiation Control Branch; licensure/certification in mammography within one year. PHYSICAL GUIDELINES: Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; exposure to hazardous materials; manual dexterity and motor coordination; visual and auditory acuity; move, lift and position materials weighing up to 20 pounds; assist patients safely.
