Maintenance Workers are critical members of our team, ensuring our general maintenance work is performed in a timely and efficient manner. If you love working with your hands and coordinating lots of details, this challenging position is right for you We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker in West Sacramento, CA who has experience in: Perform general housekeeping duties at local sites including, but not limited to, sweeping grounds, cleaning up fuel or petroleum spills, cleaning machines and equipment, and gathering and emptying trash at all facilities. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to facilities; mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Properly clean and store hazardous waste in the form of fuel absorbents. Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs; inform manager of supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Make adjustments or minor repairs to facilities including, but not limited to, irrigation equipment, hoses and nozzles, and repair breakaways following “drive off”. Maintain facilities in the local area as well as commercial and other family-owned properties. Mow or trim lawns or shrubbery, using mowers or hand or power trimmers; weed and mulch landscape beds; remove dead, damaged or unwanted shrubbery and trees; perform weed abatement services; and clear debris from grounds. Move heavy equipment and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Inspect and maintain storm water discharge systems to comply with NPDES permits. Conduct daily air quality inspections at assigned facilities. Perform other duties, as assigned. Required Education and Skills Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Use of Measuring Instruments Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs Organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently Good communication and interpersonal skills Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, yet team-oriented with a cooperative and collaborative approach to customers, co-workers, vendors Good problem-solving capabilities Valid California Drivers’ License required Why work with Ramos Oil?
