Job Description
As a Maintenance Mechanic at Fluke, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative and real-time maintenance on injection molding equipment to support the production of Fluke products. This position will support first shift operations and include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/equipment. Shift hours are roughly 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Responsibilities: Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic equipment Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, pallet jacks,&forklifts Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to a PM schedule Work from technical drawings or electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics Collaborate with operations, engineering, and the facilities team on various projects Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment Computer literate, able to easily learn and use Computerized Maintenance Software Skilled use of hand and power tools Able to work with electronics (soldering&technical knowledge) Basic plumbing skills for water hoses, pneumatics, and hydraulics Self-starter, self-motivated, works well in team environment Must build productive internal/external working relationships Ability to handle high pressure, prioritize work, and understand impact of duties Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals Strong communication, interpersonal skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, operators, engineers and support staff. Preferred: Knowledge of common manufacturing techniques Ability to utilize machining equipment Associates level degree with education in the sciences and focus on Applied Science, Automotive Systems, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Injection Molding Experience is a plus Working Conditions: Industrial work environment Extra hours required for meeting deadlines Often weekend overtime opportunities Hands-on in a manufacturing environment with injection molding machinery Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to read schematics and interpret mechanical drawings J-18808-Ljbffr
