Job Description Job Duties: Preparation: Set up machines for production, including cleaning, calibration, and ensuring safety features are working. Operation: Run machinery according to instructions and make adjustments as needed. Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance, and troubleshoot issues that arise. Quality Control: Check parts and output for quality, and record any defects. Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Recordkeeping: Create and maintain records of production, including activity logs and approved and defective units. Experience: Machining and well versed in print reading and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial bore, calipers, and optical gage equipment. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Previous experience operating machinery. Attention to detail. Understanding of production and plant processes.
