Position Details Job Title Lung Transplant Pulmonologist Job Category SSOM Clinical Faculty Job Type Full-Time FLSA Status Exempt Campus Maywood-Health Sciences Campus Department Name PULMONARY AND CRITICAL CARE Duties and Responsibilities The Department of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a Lung Transplant Pulmonologist to join its team of transplant pulmonologists in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a very busy lung transplant program as well as collaborate with faculty in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Board-certification in Internal Medicine and board-certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine are required. The successful candidate must have experience in the management of lung transplant patients. Experience with management of Interstitial Lung Disease or Cystic Fibrosis or Pulmonary Hypertension is desired, although not a requirement. The successful candidate should have dedication to teaching and a broader interest in Advanced Lung disease Management. Credentials and experience should be consistent with an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Medicine.
