Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in occupational health, home care, and senior care settings. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established standards of practice. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Assist with the assessment of patients’ health status, including vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including venipuncture for blood draws. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report findings to the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness practices. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. Support acute pain management strategies for patients as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice. Experience in occupational health, home care, or senior care preferred. Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and patient assessment skills. Familiarity with sonography principles is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
