Job Description: Aya Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a long-term care facility in Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide care in a supportive and dynamic environment. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care and transitional care setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care or transitional care setting. Float between units as needed, typically spending 3 shifts in transitional care and remaining shifts in other areas of the facility. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. Participate in rotating shifts, including every other weekend. Maintain accurate patient records using Net Solutions charting system. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure optimal patient care. Skills and Requirements: Required Experience: At least 2 years of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience. Certifications: Must have BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Float Between Units: Flexibility to float between units is required. Weekend Requirement: Availability to work every other weekend. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation. Travelers must have their own transportation. Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a consistent 5x8-hour shift schedule (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). Local Candidates: Considered "local" within a 50-mile radius, at the same pay rate. Pending Licenses: Pending licenses are accepted, but a valid license must be obtained before starting the position. Scheduling Flexibility: No additional scheduling restrictions. Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per pay period.
