Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and possess a strong set of clinical skills. Responsibilities Perform nursing care following established nursing service objectives and standards Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal Assist with procedures such as catheterization, cardiac catheterization, and dialysis Provide care for patients in an Occupational Health setting Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth Requirements Possess a valid LPN license in the state of practice Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred Ability to lift and move patients when necessary Proficient in conducting laboratory tests and interpreting results Skilled in assessing and caring for patients of all ages, including children Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing Pay: $37.22 - $38.71 per hour Physical Setting: Long term care Nursing home Rehabilitation center License/Certification: LVN (Preferred) BLS Certification (Preferred) LPN (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Dallastown, PA 17313 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Dallastown, PA 17313: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
