Job Title: (LPN) LTC Job Description: Minimum 1 Years' experience in LTC as LPN Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN, (LTC) to fill an opening located in Warrensburg, MO for $1400/Week (taxed non-taxed) Pay breakdown : Gross week: $1400/week Non taxable Stipend:$800/Week | $20/Hour Taxable pay: $600/Week| $15/Hour Blended Hourly: | $35.00/hr Requirements of the (LPN): ● Must have AHA BLS certification ● Must have valid MO, LPN License ● Must have at least 1 years of experience in LPN, LTC Responsibilities of the (LPN): ● Shift: 8 Hour Evenings ● 40 hours/wk ● 4 week contract with available extensions Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position involves working in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and urgent care centers. The LPN is responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities, ensuring that patients receive compassionate and effective care. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse. Assist with airway management and provide care for patients requiring respiratory support. Provide care for toddlers and neonates, including those on neonatal ventilators. Perform basic diagnostic tests such as sonography when required. Assist in urgent care situations by providing immediate support to patients. Support occupational health initiatives by promoting wellness among patients. Conduct health coaching sessions to educate patients on managing their health conditions. Perform suturing and wound care as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Proficient in airway management techniques and emergency response protocols. Experience in toddler care and understanding of pediatric nursing practices. Knowledge of sonography procedures and ability to assist during diagnostic imaging. Familiarity with urgent care practices and protocols for acute medical situations. Understanding of occupational health principles to promote workplace wellness. Experience in long-term care settings, providing support for chronic conditions. Skilled in suturing techniques for minor surgical procedures. Ability to provide effective health coaching to empower patients in their healthcare journey. Competence in operating neonatal ventilators and caring for vulnerable populations within a hospital setting.
