LPN Correctional Nurse needed in Martinsburg,WV Contract : 13 weeks shift : Nights pay : $48/hr Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including home care and clinical environments. The LPN will be responsible for assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and supporting patients in their recovery process. A strong understanding of anatomy and experience with IV infusion and infant care are essential for this role. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with IV infusion therapy and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Provide home care services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients. Perform phlebotomy procedures for laboratory testing as required. Support patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance. Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members. Educate patients and families on health management, including botulinum toxin treatment when applicable. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques. Ability to perform phlebotomy and understand laboratory procedures. Experience with infant care is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
