The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and home health environments. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Conduct laboratory tests and collect samples for analysis. Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapy as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans for patients. Ensure proper use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patient comfort and safety. Provide memory care support for patients with cognitive impairments. Assist in ventilating patients when necessary and monitor their respiratory status. Experience Candidates should have a valid LPN license and demonstrate proficiency in nursing skills relevant to the role. Experience in travel nursing is a plus but not required. A solid understanding of physiology knowledge is essential for effective patient assessment and care planning. Familiarity with patient aliment management will be beneficial in delivering comprehensive care to our diverse patient population.
