Job Summary We are an established Banking - Financial Services company, looking for a Litigation Attorney to join our team. We are seeking an experienced attorney with excellent knowledge of commercial, creditor, debt, insolvency, and bankruptcy laws. Responsibilities Handling lawsuits from filing of complaint through judgment. Collaborating with internal restructuring and accounting teams with respect to preparing matters for litigation. Assisting with pre-litigation matters in coordination with team to resolve defaults and other disputes. Engaging and supervising external local counsel to handle out of state matters including recovery of collateral, domesticating and collecting upon MA judgments and any other applicable litigation. Assisting with other legal matters, including bankruptcy and insolvency, as necessary. Managing out-of-state dockets. Advising and providing legal analysis to business executives with regard to status of and strategy surrounding MA and out of state litigation. Qualifications JD from a nationally recognized law school. Licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 5 years of commercial litigation experience.
