The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to service calls when dispatched. Provide dispatch with job related information including before and after pictures of work performed. Complete jobs within the time estimated. Turn in time cards daily. Flexible work schedule may be needed to accommodate work based on customer needs. Proper work attire including uniforms must be worn and kept neat and clean always. Equipment must be kept clean and maintained always. Vehicles which may be assigned must remain clean and maintained always. Uphold the companies Mission and Core values with everything done on behalf of the company. Identify ways to become more efficient on jobs or in process. Must be able to pass background checks, DMV pre-screening and drug screening. Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, lifts and heights in general. ABILITIES AND SKILLS Punctuality and great attendance. Well-spoken in English. Average writing skills in English. Above average electrical skills related to the commercial and residential industry (i.e. receptacles, switches, GFIs, dedicated circuits, panel upgrades&installs, breaker replacement, troubleshooting, pulling wire, proper conduit placement and sizing, etc.). General knowledge of the California Electrical Code (CEC) as well as the National Electrical Code (NEC). Average general lighting skills related to the commercial and residential industry is a plus (i.e. lamp replacement, ballast replacement, troubleshooting, wall switches and outlets, timers, photo cells, LED retrofits, etc.). Average general maintenance and repair skills related to the commercial and residential industry is a plus (i.e. drywall, tile, painting, carpentry, plumbing, ceiling tiles, etc.). The ability to adapt and learn quickly. Willingness to learn other trades and support other divisions as a team player. Above average communication skills. Perform well individually as well as with others. Industry certifications are a plus. Minimum 5 years’ experience self-performing electrical service and repair work is required.
