Conducts all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner. Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes. Utilizes standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery. Responsibilities include: Collaborates with materials management to ensure appropriate stock and minimize outdated stock. Administers prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments. Assists with patient education and discharge planning. Demonstrates correct stabilization and immobilization of spine. Collects patient specimens following department/facility policies and procedures. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies to optimize delivery of patient care and treatment. Available shifts: _(1 pm - 1 am)&(7 am - 7 pm)_ Requirements: Graduate of an accredited LPN school One year of ED LPN experience _strongly preferred_ Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as an LPN BLS certification from the American Heart Association About Inova Health System Inova is Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
