Aged&Disability Support (Community Services&Development) Olivet Care provides a variety of aged care services and programs for every stage of the ageing journey. Our services include Aged Care Day Programs, Residential Aged Care, Home Care Services, Residential Respite Care, and Dementia&Memory Support. Independent Living Units are also established on site. About the Role We currently have a vacancy for a vibrant and energetic Lifestyle Assistant to join our team to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of our lifestyle support/activities programs. This is a part-time or casual role. Qualifications The successful candidate will have: Certificate III in Aged Care. Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle. Ability to drive a 10-seater bus. Strong knowledge and understanding of elderly people. Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards. Excellent communication and time management skills. Maintain documentation and contribute to quality compliance through computer-based programs. Demonstrate an understanding of the differing cognitive, spiritual and cultural needs of residents. Build relationships with our residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team. Key Requirements First Aid Certificate. Display a calm and patient manner at all times with residents who may have complex needs. NDIS. Why Choose Olivet Care Above Award Hourly Rate.
