We are seeking a trustworthy, dependable, and hard-working person to join our team as a legal assistant/paralegal. We are hiring for our Fayetteville (Cumberland County) location. The position will require answering phone calls, taking detailed messages, scheduling appointments, filing, preparing calendars, collecting fees, and maintaining communication with clients. This is in addition to preparing notices&court documents, preparing files for court hearings, and drafting any and all documents required by the attorneys. Responsibilities: Conduct research to support legal proceedings Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Record and store client information ​ Qualifications: Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline and detail-oriented Strong customer service skills
