Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our office. Our law firm provides help to clients throughout the "Upper Valley" of NH and VT and we would like some to support the efforts of our office Responsibilities include: Assist with reviewing of legal documents Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes Work with state agencies Get to know and work with client and maintain client information Although presence in the office is an expectation, we are flexible on time and are all family oriented and believe that taking care on oneself and one's family is important. That said, each of us also know that others here in the office rely on each of us and we look for a high level of responsibility to accomplish the tasks that are required, especially with court deadlines or real estate closing deadlines. Qualifications: Previous experience as a paralegal or other real estate of business field is a plus Ability to prioritize and multitask Good written and verbal communication skills Pleasant in speaking and dealing with clients Working together with other staff and attorneys Company Description Our law firm has a strong reputation earned through the skills of its staff and attorneys and we enjoy working with our clients.
