Job Description Job Description Job Description An opportunity is available in our Newport Beach office for an experienced civil litigation legal assistant with top-notch technical and administrative skills. The selected individual will be responsible for creating electronic files and preparing and processing correspondence, memoranda and complex legal documents, maintaining and processing case information including case calendaring, managing the progression of cases to final disposition, Required Skills This position requires excellent technical, administrative, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, knowledge of legal procedures and filings, and the ability to work well independently and with others in a busy office environment. A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and document management systems strongly preferred. Required Experience Minimum of 2 years of recent law firm experience working in civil litigation. Experience with Insurance Defense, Bodily Injury and/or Construction Defect litigation is a plus. Must be familiar with state and federal court rules, procedures and filing requirements and the day-to-day activities of a litigation practice.
